Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan mengembangkan buku panduan perawatan berbasis homecare untuk anak hambatan intelektual yang layak dan efektif untuk digunakan, sebagai respons terhadap urgensi lemahnya dukungan sistematis bagi keluarga, khususnya orang tua dalam menjalankan peran perawatan sehari-hari di rumah. Metode Peneltian Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE, yang melibatkan orang tuaanak hambatan intelektual sebagai subjek. Proses pengembangan mencakup validasi oleh ahli materi dan ahli media, serta uji coba lapangan yang terdiri atas tahap awal (3 orang tua) dan tahap utama (12 orang tua). Efektivitas panduan diukur melalui perbandingan skor pre-test dan post-test, dengan analisis data deskriptif kuantitatif yang disajikan dalam grafik dan tabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa buku panduan yang dihasilkan dinyatakan sangat layak, dengan penilaian dari ahli materi (3,69), ahli media (3,54), guru (3,65), serta orang tua pada uji coba awal (3,32) dan uji utama (3,38) yang seluruhnya berada dalam kategori "baik". Lebih lanjut, uji efektivitas membuktikan adanya peningkatan sebesar 49% pada pemahaman atau kemampuan orang tua setelah menggunakan panduan ini. Keterbaruan terletak pada pendekatan integratif yang menggabungkan berbagai aspek perawatan kehidupan sehari-hari anak dengan hambatan intelektual ke dalam satu panduan yang komprehensif, serta penggunaan model homecare sebagai strategi pemberdayaan keluarga untuk mendukung pengasuhan jangka panjang secara mandiri dirumah.
